Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of Furloom (the “App”), made available by Saksham Virmani (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

What Furloom is

Furloom is a free, private, local-only pet-care app for iOS. It keeps your pet profiles, photos, captions, milestone dates, care contacts, food and supply tracking, reminders, and widget preferences on your device. No data is collected or transmitted to any external server. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Free to use

Furloom is free to download and use. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no recurring fees. The app is free, full stop.

Licence to use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms and Apple’s usage rules.

Your content

All photos, captions, and data you add to Furloom remain yours. We do not access, use, or claim any rights over your content. Because everything is stored locally on your device, you are responsible for keeping backups (the portable backup feature in Settings can help).

Acceptable use

You agree to use Furloom only for lawful personal purposes. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, modify, or distribute the App or its code. You may not use the App in any way that violates applicable law.

No warranty

The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Because Furloom stores data locally, you are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your data. We are not liable for any loss of data resulting from device failure, accidental deletion, or any other cause.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App.

Third-party services

Furloom does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. Furloom is free with no in-app purchases. It is distributed through the Apple App Store, and your download and use of the App through the App Store are governed by Apple’s terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
